Anthologies–one and two

Our first anthology, a joy to receive and, in the words of our contestants, a delight to read. Thanks go to the editors, designers and the local library staff who, among many others, mentioned in the book, gave us their time.

 

Thanks go out to everyone who has entered Onward Two for their great presentation. Every single entry has been in double space with perhaps six very minor, type errors between the lot! It’s amazing and so good to have no rejections. I have no idea how the judges coped with such quality poems and stories. Perhaps there should also be a prize for the one which made people cry the most and the one which made them laugh the most.

 

 

 

 

The cover was designed by 16, almost 17, year old Jane Rooke, a student, from Hyde. Jane is really gifted at artwork including scenery.
